• Will you sort my clothes before laundering?
Our bulk laundry wash & fold service is priced so low, we do not include sorting your items by care label, which is very time consuming. Do not send “dry clean only” items mixed with the wash and fold items, because everything will be washed. We separate by colors, but do not look at the care labels in Wash and Fold orders.
• Will you check my pockets before laundering?
No, we do not check the pockets in bulk wash & fold service. Please make sure you have done so at home. We cannot assume responsibility for ink loads caused by your pens or damage done to flash drives etc.
• How does Wash, Dry & Fold differ from Dry Cleaning or Laundry Service?
Dry Clean and Laundry items are inspected prior to cleaning by our Customer Service Reps who empty your pockets, unbutton all of your buttons and enter each individual piece to our computer, using a barcode system. Those items are then cleaned and pressed per their label instructions.
Wash, Dry & Fold is a “bulk” service for washable wearables, towels & sheets. This means the whole order is treated as one “item” in that none of the pieces are individually handled until they are folded. The buttons & labels are not checked, and the pockets are not emptied. The contents of your bag are laundered, dried, folded, packaged and returned to you.
• I brought in 4 pounds of laundry. Why was I charged for 6 pounds?
Sending in less than 6 pounds is fine. We will charge the 6-pound minimum price.
• Can you “hang dry” items?
No. “Hang dry” items require additional space and time, that we are unable to accommodate with bulk laundry. All items will be dried in a dryer.
• Can you hang all or some of my items on hangers instead of folding for return?
No. Hanging individual items on hangers again takes additional time & space that we are not able to accommodate with bulk laundry. All items will be folded and bagged.
• How about comforters or repairs?
Wash and Fold is for washable wearables, towels & sheets that can be washed, dried and folded. Beyond towels and sheets, this service is not for household items and no items will be repaired.
Comforters, Repairs and any specialty items must be serviced through our full service laundry and dry cleaning services. If you have a VIP Bag, please request a separate bag for items other than Wash & Fold & we will be happy to make one for you. Orange bag tags indicate Wash/Fold. Green bag tags indicate Full Service.
• Is Delivery FREE with Wash & Fold Service?
Absolutely! There is no extra charge to have your laundry picked up from your home or work. Your assigned route day depends on your address. Depending on that address, your route days will be either Mon/Thurs – or – Tues/Fri. Routes are set up for maximum efficiency, so no alteration to these days can be made. There is no route service on Wed.
•What is the turn around time for Wash & Fold Service?
If you drop your order at one of our stores, the turn around time is typically 2 business days. If the order is unusually large, additional time may be needed. If you are a route customer, turn around will be your next usual delivery day. (We do not process items on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays.)
•Do I have to commit to a regular schedule or sign up for a program to us the Wash & Fold Service?
No.You can use this service when you need it by dropping it at one of our stores or calling your driver for a pick up.
•How do I package my dirty laundry to bring it to you?
If you want to try out this service, package your laundry in a large garbage type bag clearly labelled with your name, phone number & your request for all items in bag to be Washed & Folded.
If you decide to use this service on an ongoing basis & sign up for monthly billing, you will automatically be issued a VIP bag for your use.
